QR Photo Album for Family Trips & Vacations

Every family member's travel photos — organized by day, saved to Google Drive, no group chat required

One trip, many phones, one beautiful album

Family vacations create hundreds of photo moments across multiple phones — mom's sunset shots, dad's food photos, the kids' selfies, grandpa's scenic views. But after the trip? Photos stay scattered. Album QR solves this with a single QR code for the whole trip. Create a multi-day album, share the QR code with your travel group, and everyone uploads their best shots day by day. By the time you get home, your complete vacation album is already organized on Google Drive — sorted by day, in full quality, ready for a photo book.

Why Album QR is perfect for family trips

  • Multi-day support — album automatically organizes photos by day: Day 1 arrival, Day 2 beach, Day 3 sightseeing, and so on
  • Everyone contributes — mom, dad, teens, grandparents. Each person uploads from their own phone, zero coordination needed
  • Works offline-friendly — take photos anytime, upload when you have Wi-Fi at the hotel. No real-time connection required
  • Full quality for photo books — up to 4K resolution, perfect for printing a vacation photo book when you get home
  • No group chat flood — instead of 300 photos in a family WhatsApp group, one organized album everyone can browse
  • Google Drive backup — all photos safe in the cloud before you even unpack your suitcase
  • AI-powered curation — let AI pick the TOP 50 best travel shots from the whole trip. Landscapes, group selfies, food — all scored automatically

Collect trip photos in 3 easy steps

Create your trip album before you leave

Set up your album in a minute: name it something like italy-2025.albumqr.io, set the trip dates, and enable multi-day mode. Download the QR code and share it with the family — via text, email, or print it on a luggage tag.

Scan & upload throughout the trip

Everyone scans the QR code once and bookmarks the upload page. Each day, family members select their best shots and upload them — at the hotel, at a café, whenever there's Wi-Fi. Photos are automatically tagged with the day they were taken.

Come home to a complete vacation album

By the last day of the trip, your Google Drive already has a beautifully organized album — every family member's perspective, sorted by day, in full resolution. Ready to relive, share with relatives back home, or turn into a printed photo book.

Multi-day mode — your trip, organized day by day

Album QR's multi-day feature is built for trips and vacations. When you enable it, uploaded photos are automatically grouped by the day they were taken. Day 1: the airport and first dinner. Day 2: the beach. Day 3: the city tour. Your album tells the story of your trip chronologically, from every family member's perspective. No manual sorting — just a complete, organized travel journal waiting on your Google Drive.

Travel photo album FAQ

Can family members upload photos without Wi-Fi?

Photos are taken normally on the phone. When Wi-Fi is available — at the hotel, a restaurant, the airport — family members scan the QR code (or open the bookmarked page) and upload their favorites. No real-time connection needed for taking photos.

Does multi-day mode organize photos automatically?

Yes! When multi-day mode is enabled, photos are automatically sorted by the day they were uploaded. You'll see a clean, chronological album: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, etc. No manual tagging or organizing required.

Can I add photos from a DSLR camera?

Yes — transfer DSLR photos to your phone first (via SD card reader or camera's Wi-Fi), then upload them through the Album QR browser page. The upload supports high-resolution images up to 4K.

What plan do I need for a week-long trip?

For a family of 4-6 on a week-long trip, the Basic plan (500 photos, €19.90) or Premium plan (2,000 photos, €39.90) works great. Both are one-time payments. Start with the free Starter plan (50 photos) to try it out before your trip.

Can extended family back home view the album?

Since all photos go to your Google Drive, you can share the Drive folder with anyone — grandparents, relatives, or friends who weren't on the trip. They can view and enjoy the photos as they're uploaded, almost like a real-time travel blog.
